Is your company protected for price reductions?
If your network costs $20,000/month in 2008 with a three-year contract, what if you discover the price to a new customer is $16,000/month? Consider contract language to allow you to get a price adjustment.
What happens if you have a business downturn? What unexpected fees might appear on your invoices, beyond what is on your price quotation. We’ve seen invoices with six or seven line items of fees, taxes and surcharges. The best protection is knowledge: ask to see an actual invoice. Fees may be different depending on where the invoice goes. Invoices to a Hong Kong address will have 3% lower taxes than invoice to a Mainland China address. Different billing addresses may have different fees and taxes.
