New Terrestrial Cable Reduces US-India Latency by 30ms

SASE Secure Access Service Edge

When companies based in the USA connect to India, it is most typically via the submarine cable infrastructure across the Pacific and through the Indian Ocean.

There is now a new option available, that utilizes an over-land cable that is routed from China to India.  This route is much shorter, permitting better performance than the submarine cables.  In addition, this cable reduces the risk posed by earthquakes in the Indian Ocean.
